EARTH DAY

Today it was earth day! Earth day is a day that celebrates the earth. My school did a school tidy up. My class got the job by the pond. I was the bag holder. We picked up lots of plastic bags, cans, cigarettes and other garbage. In Brownies we did the same thing. I felt really sorry for the fish and turtles that live in the pond because there was so much garbage. Unfortunately we could not reach the garbage in the water but we did get the trash around it. After we cleaned up I felt much better. It felt good to help keep the earth clean.
